Castle built from PLA bottle is hopefully to be awarded Guiness record

Volunteer Organization of Hungary Environment Protection built a castle from 9500 pieces of PLA bottles. The castle reaches 4.2 meters high, was awarded Hungrian record, and it is hopefully to be awarded Guiness record in the near future. Hungarian TV had an exclusive interview with this event and aroused a strong reaction. For details, please see:http://info.plas.hc360.com/2011/09/201030294581.shtml   

PLA is a new biodegradable environmentally friendly material, in the compost conditions, broken down into carbon dioxide and water. PLA plays a more and more important role in solving the problem of white pollution from plastic, and saving nonrenewable oil resources. It is recognized as a new ecological material in the trend of environment protection and sustainable development in new century.

The bottles used in this project of building castle were made from China Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co.,Ltd Esun brand PLA. Esun brand PLA has been widely used in the industries of injection, packaging, textile, etc. It is used in making packaging bags, cases, containers, tablewares and so on. Esun brand PLA has been awarded high reputation from both international and national markets.

The main purpose of this project is promoting environment protection and advising use environmentally friendly materials so as to create a harmonious lowcarbon environment. This project is attracted much attention from people of every level. The castle was awarded Hungrian record, and is hopely to be awarded Guiness record in the near future. This project is one of the new successful cases of using PLA material. It is deeply believed that PLA environmentally friendly material will be more and more popular.
