From May 18th to 21st, the National Restaurant Association Show 2024 will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago, USA.

As a century-old event and the largest hotel and restaurant gathering in the United States, the NRA SHOW will attract thousands of companies from various countries around the world.

Biobased, recyclable, biodegradable! In this exhibition, eSUN will present its eco-friendly packaging solutions, contributing to the sustainable development of the hotel and restaurant industry with environmentally friendly products.

1.Eco-friendly degradable (compostable) coated paper and paper products

eSUN's coated paper has excellent stiffness performance; it is healthy, eco-friendly, non-toxic, and degradable, capable of direct contact with food; waterproof, oil-proof, heat-insulating, mold-proof, antibacterial, and breathable; printable, and can be compounded with other eco-friendly materials to add additional functions.

eSUN's PLA coated paper can be used not only for making paper cups and bowls but also meet the packaging and paper needs of daily chemical products, electronic products, medical, agricultural, industrial, and other fields. Currently, this product has passed multiple degradable certifications such as BPI and DIN.

2.Eco-friendly degradable (compostable) plastic products

In the hotel and restaurant industry, there is an inevitable need for some disposable products. eSUN's degradable plastic products, such as knives, forks, spoons, stirrers, plastic cups, and takeaway boxes, can degrade under certain conditions. Additionally, eSUN can provide biodegradable injection molding materials, sheet materials, blown film materials, and straw materials, and also support product processing.

3.Eco-friendly degradable (compostable) fiber non-woven products

Polylactic acid fiber combines the advantages of natural fibers and synthetic fibers, with a weak acidity similar to human skin, naturally skin-friendly, antibacterial, anti-mite, and anti-allergy, with good drape, smoothness, breathability, and a glossy appearance. At the same time, textile products made from polylactic acid fibers also have self-extinguishing properties, ensuring high safety in use.

In the hotel and restaurant industry, eSUN's polylactic acid fibers can be used to produce degradable packaging, such as tea bags, non-woven bags, etc.; they can also be used to make blankets, quilts, disposable slippers, and other products.
